BMUFOR: Beamship Monitor Device - Obscuring knobs and the Truth

During Meier’s Great Journey in space described in Contact Report 31, which took place from July 17-22, 1975, among several hundreds of images he photographed, he published a photo (see below) of an extraterrestrial monitor (display) device present in one of the Plejaren's beamship. The image of this alleged extraterrestrial monitor was shown to Swiss writer, publicist, and journalist Luc Bürgin by Meier's former FIGU group member, Herbert Runkel which he apparently cited during his lectures up to 1980's (until he left the group) as an authentic "extraterrestrial instrument on the inside of a spaceship".

Is this image really showing an extraterrestrial instrument onboard Pleajren beamship?

Kal Korff and Luc Bürgin interviews Billy Meier's ex-wife Kalliope (1998)

""For decades, the Swiss Billy Meier with his alien tales brought disrepute to credible UFO observers. His alleged ET Lady aka "Asket" proved to be a singer from the "Dean Martin Show," as the journalist Luc Bürgin and Kal Korff unveiled in 1998. The corresponding video evidence shows Billy's ex-wife Kalliope in front of the camera. Now these earlier TV recordings are finally available online.

Note:
Our English subtitles (courtesy of Joachim Koch, Berlin, Germany) are based on the German subtitles that appear in the video. Some of these German subs that are attributed to Kalliope are just paraphrases of what she originally spoke in Swiss-German."

BMUFOR - Billy Meier's Outer Space Pictures: Asket, Nera and Semjase

Photo #109, allegedly showing from left to right – Asket, Nera and Semjase (partly visible)
Photo #110 (image enhanced), allegedly showing Asket and a women on her left, not identified by Meier
Photo #111, allegedly showing, from left to right – Asket, Nera and Semjase (partly visible)

During Meier’s Great Journey in space described in Contact Report 31, which took place from July 17-22, 1975*, he allegedly traveled through the Universal Barrier (or Tunnel) to a parallel or twin Universe called the DAL Universe in a Plejaren mother ship called the Great Spacer. Once in the DAL-universe, together with Semjase he transfers to the giant space ship of the people of one of Meier’s former contact persons from the DAL-universe, the extraterrestrial woman Asket. There, according to the excerpts from CR 31, Meier was allowed to take some photographs of the extraterrestrial women Asket, Nera and Semjase.

It is not clear on how many photographs Meier actually shot of Asket, Nera and Semjase, but he published only three photographs which are indexed as #109, #110 and #111 in his photo catalogue book – ‘Verzeichnis – der Nummern und Legenden der FIGU-Photos (1991/1999)‘. These photos became some of the most well known and controversial photos of the Meier case.

The above pictures #109, #110 and #111 of Asket, Nera and Semjase have been sold to the public by Meier/FIGU probably from around 1975 onwards. They have also been promoted and published numerous times in various newspapers, magazines, TV shows, etc. since 1976.

Did Meier really photograph the three ET women?

BMUFOR - Billy Meier's Outer Space Pictures: Cave Men analysis (updated)

According to Contact Report 35, during Meier's Great Journey in space (which took place from July 17-22, 1975) he allegedly traveled to NEBER, a planet in the KRAS system in the galaxy BEBERAS (these are Plejaren designations) which is 9.38 billion light years from Earth. There he was also allowed to take many pictures, of which 7 (see pgs. 434, 435 & 438) are printed in PPKB 1.

Two of the pictures show primitive men which according to the CR 35 are descendants of 2 advanced human races that build research outposts on the planet thousands of years ago.

Are these two pictures featuring primitive men authentic ?

Read the analysis: BMUFOR
Note: Though the article on BMUFOR is largely based on the blog article which I have already published on Feb 28, 2014, it has been updated with some new information.

The Cave-Men Photos Controversy: Outer Space photos of Billy Meier taken in 1975

Note:
New information(along with the response by James Deardorff) added towards the end of the blog on March 2, 2014. For easy reference, I have made the color of added text, green.

Time Line:

July 1975 Meier takes a universe-wide trip & even to another universe on a huge spacecraft called as Great-Spacer and have taken hundreds of photos and to be precise 1378.

1975-1976 – Realizing that many outer space pictures were contaminated with fakes purported by third parties(MIB,..etc) in order to discredit Meier & his mission, Plejaren decided to remove most of the outer space pictures( to be precise 1336) from the photo albums and destroyed them to avoid any negative consequences. And so these never got into official channels for sale. Though some(42) photos were allowed to exist with Meier & also with the late Guido Moosbrugger(FIGU Core-Group 49 member).

1995 – Kal Korff publishes the book ‘Spaceships of the Pleiades: The Billy Meier Story’  in which he on pages 252-255 talks about the primitive “cave man” photographs which he had obtained from an ex-FIGU member Hans Jacob who worked closely with Meier, managing his Photo albums during 1975-1976.  According to Korff, these photos were available in Hans Jacob’s binder(DIA-Die grosse Reise in die Eqigkeit von 17, p.10-11) & he says the following on page 252:

“Billy Meier claims that while visiting the planet “Neber”, he observed primitive life forms of various kinds, including what he described as a “cave-man” walking around. He then took two photographs of this alleged primitive being.”

Following are the scans of pages 252-255 from Korff’s book. In them Korff points out the inconsistencies contained in the photos. More on it later.

April 1996 – Luc Bürgin publishes an article – ‘The Meier Controvery: New Accusations’ in UFO-Kurier, Nr.18, April 1996(rough english translation) & says the following on these 2 pictures: (for original german article read here)

“Two other pictures from 1975 seemed strangely familiar to me. They show ancient men, which Billy supposedly snapped during his travel to a planet called “Neber”. Somehow it seemed to me as if the Swiss photographed the two hairy figures from a graphic illustration, on which the evolution of men at different points in time is represented. Later it turned out my instinct didn’t mislead me. The graphic designers from List-publisher used such an illustration for the German version of a book of Steve Jones ("Die Botschaft der Gene",
München 1995), at which two of the depicted human predecessors were exactly identical with the creatures on Meiers pictures! (I saved myself the trouble to research the exact age of the original illustration, but I bet it originated before 1975.)”

August 1996 – FIGU responds to the article written by Luc Bürgin in UFO-Kurier, Nr.18, April 1996. See the english response here & original german here. However neither Meier nor FIGU didn’t respond to the specific allegations and even to the primitive cave men photos issue.

2002 – Meier/FIGU publishes the 3rd edition contact notes,  Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Report Block 1. On page 435 are the cave men photos cropped to fit into the page. For full unedited photos, refer to the Korff book above. See below for the photo of cave men, as it appeared on pg 435 of Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Report Block 1.

2005 – An article is published on FIGU website as Special Bulletin 20(original german here) about the controversy behind the photographs taken by Meier in outer space(especially the Pteranodon photo)& how these were manipulated by third parties(MIB, photographer Schmid..etc). In that special bulletin 20, Meier shows an article prepared by Hans-George Lanzendorfer(HGL, FIGU CG49 member) on this issue to Plejaren ET Ptaah, who further added some information to the bulletin.
For the sake of clarity, below, I am going to ask questions and present answers by quoting the information available in Special Bulletin 20.

Did Meier really take photos of primitive human beings during his Outer Space travel in July 1975?

“HGL: A journey with Semjase into the galaxy BEBERAS to the world NEBER in the KRAS system did, in fact, take place during the 31st Contact on the 17th of July, 1975. The world inhabited by dinosaurs, NEBER, is 9.38 billion light years away from the Earth. These facts can be read in the bound edition of The Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Reports, Block 1 (2002), on page 432, sentence# 575 and the following. During the journey, some photographs of various primeval animals and humans as well as pyramids were actually made by BEAM, some of which are shown in the edition of the book mentioned....”
“HGL: Several years ago, the core group members of the association were treated to a short film that included “Billy” on his Great Space Journey and the documenting of a dinosaur world. On display was a primeval world in black and white images as well as some dinosaurs and primitive human beings, who were moving through this terrain.”

Are any Outer Space photos available & if yes with whom ?

“HGL: After the freshly developed dinosaur pictures were in the hands of “Billy,” these were seen and inspected by Quetzal. During this, dozens of pictures were noted by him, which quite clearly could not have come from the world NEBER and, therefore, had not been taken by “Billy,” about which Quetzal got very angry....This especially concerned that photograph, on which a pterosaur, with an ejecting fish and a white spot on its belly, was portrayed. With the help of this counterfeit, “Billy” should have one day been made a deceiver and contact swindler. Because of the manipulations, the photos were immediately recovered and destroyed by Quetzal in the middle of the 1970s, and indeed, still before they could be brought into circulation by FIGU or by “Billy...”
“HGL: Before the original photos were removed and destroyed by Quetzal, however, the foundation member of FIGU, Guido Moosbrugger, came into the possession of some copies. However, he had to make the promise to the Plejaren and “Billy,” never to make the copies available to the public or to get rid of these in any way because the falsification from a foreign hand was also among the preserved photos. Should he fail to comply with the instruction, the pictures would have to be immediately confiscated and destroyed by the Plejaren, as this also happened with the originals of “Billy.” To this day, Guido Moosbrugger feels bound to his promise and has always kept the pictures under wraps.”

Are these surviving Outer Space photos which were published in contact notes, genuine ?

“HGL: In the course of the joint correction work on the Contact Reports by Ptaah, Florena, Enjana, “Billy” and Bernadette Brand, the time for clarifying had also come. In the year 2001, Guido was asked by “Billy” to make some of the photos available for publication in the corrected Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Report Block. Therefore, since the year 2001, several genuine dinosaur pictures and dinosaur slides from the possession of Guido Moosbrugger are to be found with “Billy” again, but these remain strictly under wraps. For the publication in the Contact Report Block, it was strictly ensured, with the help of Ptaah, that it only concerned “Billy’s” genuine pictures or his pictures that were only slightly falsified by Schmid, whereby the aforesaid falsification, for a logical reason, found no use.
“Ptaah: Of the more than 1,378 pictures from your Great Journey, only a few remain, namely 42, which really came from you, while the majority of the 1,336 pictures consisted of foisted photocopies of some drawings, etc., which Quetzal discovered very quickly at that time, which is why he destroyed all slides and photos.... Worldwide, none of your dinosaur pictures and space pictures, etc. have been published, other than those that are shown in new Contact Report Block. These, however, are only a few copies of the real 42 shots, to which only very few falsifying and not any major changes were made.”

Conclusion: As you can see from the above information, Meier says that the outer space photos that were published in Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Report vol 1 in 2002 were only some of the total of 42 surviving genuine or almost genuine photos that were really taken by him during his trip in July 1975.

Dec 2011 – I for the first time came across Luc Bürgin’s  article – ‘The Meier Controvery: New Accusations’-  in UFO-Kurier, Nr.18, April 1996. Luc mentioned that the photos of primitive men taken by Meier during his outer space journey resembled to him of a photo of an illustration depicting the evolution of man & which he later found out that this is “exactly identical” to the image present on the cover page of the book authored by Steve Jones ("Die Botschaft der Gene", München, 1995). And Luc further went on to say that he does not want to bother himself to search for similar pictures that goes even before the year 1975, the year of Meier’s travel and that he was pretty confident that they would definitely exist.
Having read that, I did a simple google search & found out what I was looking for within a couple of minutes. You can do it yourself just with these key words – ‘evolution man illustration’ and 34,000,000 results would appear in 0.44 seconds. Don’t worry you don’t have to go through all of those pages but now you just need to click on the very first link(which of course most of the times is a Wikipedia article) on the very first page with the title - March of Progress & voila! The following illustration appears in that Wikipedia article. Notice the part of the illustration highlighted with red circle.

Wikipedia reads:

“The March of Progress
, or simply March of Progress, is one of the most famous and recognizable scientific illustrations ever produced. A compressed presentation of 25 million years of human evolution, it depicts 15 human evolutionary forebears lined up as if marching in a parade from left to right. The image has been copied, modified and parodied countless times and has proven controversial in a number of respects.
The illustration that has come to be known as The March of Progress was originally commissioned by Time-Life Books for the Early Man volume (1965) of its popular Life Nature Library.[1] This book, authored by anthropologist F. Clark Howell (1925–2007) and the Time-Life editors, included a foldout section of text and images (pages 41–45) entitled "The Road to Homo Sapiens", prominently featuring the sequence of figures drawn by noted natural history painter and muralist Rudolph Zallinger (1919–1995).

Further in the Wikipedia it says that primitive people that were encircled in red are actually from left to right – Homo erectus & Early Homo Sapiens respectively.  Homo erectus lived between 1.9 million years ago and 143,000 years ago & Archaic Homo sapiens, the forerunner of anatomically modern humans, evolved between 400,000 and 250,000 years ago.
See the side-by-side for comparison of the artist Rudolph Zallinger’s 1965 illustration and the Meier’s alleged photo taken during his outer space trip in July 1975. The similarities are astounding & there is no reason to conclude otherwise rather than say that both look one and the same, but in B/W mode with out-of-focus & of very poor quality.

How are the photos taken by Meier in 1975 exactly identical to an artist’s rendition which he made in 1965 ? Lets run down the similarities among them and contemplate the probability for such an occurrence.
  1. Photo taken from the same perspective & height as appears in the illustration
  2. Photos taken under the same lighting conditions, shadows & contrast
  3. Walking in the same direction, from left to right
  4. Right leg & left hand forward in both photos
  5. Same physical form, proportions, growth, size & gait
  6. Face pointing in the same direction
For Meier to have photographed the primitive men with all the above features is nearly zero & to be honest in practical terms its zero. Were there any extraterrestrial reasons that allowed this zero probability event to take place at least once ?
According to Meier & also according to the author & late FIGU CG49 member Guido Moosbrugger, as it turns out the answer is YES & it did happen many times.
On pg 170, of the book And Still They Fly, 2004 published by Guido, the following is said regarding the controversy on the outer space pictures:
Moreover, it happened that Billy's photos of outer space were shown on television without naming their origin. Several pictures in circulation were used to make deceptively similar, though somewhat altered, reproductions in order to represent future earth technology Worst of all was the fact that some of the motives had already been known for years in trick or science fiction movies, before Billy traveled through outer space and had made public the photos relating thereto. In Billy's case, whoever knew nothing of the facts undoubtedly must have assumed there was something fishy going on. But nothing "fishy" was taking place. First, some facts were not known until later — not even to Billy — and second, the skeptics did not know soon enough, or not at all.
The true background is that the Baavi Intelligences(pg.176-have an association with the Pleiadians and are called on occasion to perform special tasks for them. They live in the same Tayget SOL System and dimensional plane, as do the Pleiadians) had a mission to transmit several very special pictures, identical to Billy's space photographs, to certain sensitive earth artists in an inspirational manner; for example, to artists who specialize in futuristic illustrations, science fiction authors, and the like. Unfortunately, these inspirations were transmitted before Billy's space photos were publicized, that means with full intention — if one disregards a mishap in this matter.
According to the opinion of the extraterrestrials, earth people are to be prepared for coming events. This is to be accomplished in a very graphic manner through the publication of such "inspirations" in the form of pictures. However, the criteria used to select the photos is unknown to me.
Billy thus had to swallow the accusations that his photos were not genuine and that he had merely copied them from existing paintings, magazine photos and illustrations of every kind, or were photographed from television programs. For our extraterrestrial friends, the entire misery must have been like a bracing cold shower. Their well-intended efforts produced the exact opposite effect. Certainly, the actions of the Baavi Intelligences can be correctly understood only if we try to put ourselves into their totally different manner of thinking. Lying and cheating are foreign to them. They freed themselves of these vices quite some time ago. They were only reminded of it again after they discovered that lying and cheating on earth is the usual practice. Thus, viewed from their lofty standpoint, no one can blame them for completely misjudging the earth peoples' behaviour. Had they imagined how negative the reaction would be to their plans, they would certainly have refrained from carrying them out and would have left their premature "inspirations" alone.”
So Meier’s response is that the ETs known as ‘Baavi Intelligences’ transmit pictures of events to artists, authors,..etc  as “inspirations” without making them aware of it, who specialize in futuristic illustrations, science fiction authors, and the like.

And what is the criteria used by these highly developed ETs in the selection of pictures which are to be send as inspirations to artists ?

Guido says he does not know the criteria but mentions that they have selected the pictures identical to Billy’s space photographs for their inspirations! And that these were planned to be sent to artists in order for them to get published only after Meier publicized his outer space photos first. Which of course didn’t go accordingly and this he says is the true cause behind the controversy of some of the outer space pictures.

Ex: Future San Francisco earthquake photos which were supposed to be published by Geo Magazine only after Meier publishes it around March 1978. But according to Meier/Guido, the Geo Magazine “issued by mistake an entire year too early – several months before Billy’s journey through time” - (pg.171, ASTF, 2004).

So lets look at it again carefully! Baavi ETs inspires artists, authors..etc  by projecting images of photos that would be taken by Meier in the future ?
Does this mean that Baavi ETs have been projecting  images at least from year 1965 to the noted natural history painter and muralist Rudolph Zallinger, of photos of primitive cave men that would be taken by Billy 10 years later in 1975 expecting that he would render them only after Meier’s trip in 1975 ? (nobody or no institution plans to render an illustration 10 years ahead!)
For this to accomplish, according to Meier literature, they either have to physically time travel into the future & get a copy of Meier’s photos & come back and begin projecting images. And another method is using the powers of consciousness, to capture with mind the photos taken by Meier in future  and then transmit these as inspirations to artists, authors,..etc.
Why not just use images obtained by themselves about their own technology, travels, experiences,..etc ?
What is the logic behind using Meier’s photos as inspirations when there are a lot of negative consequences attached to it ?

Apart from these absurdities, apparent internal inconsistencies & contradictions there is another angle to this transmission of pictures.

How efficient is this method of sending inspirations by Baavi Intelligences ?

Let us suppose that Baavi ETs have inspired an artist with a picture which is identical to a photo taken by Meier in year 1975. And 5 years later in year 1980, the artist publishes his drawing or illustration, identical to Meier’s – which is what Baavi ETs chose.

Now doesn’t it cause copyrights issues ?

According to our earth laws, an identical drawing or a drawing with substantial similarities of a photograph is considered to be a copyright infringement. Imagine if Baavi ETs send the same picture to different artists(as far as I know Meier didn’t mention this to be the case yet!) who would make the same illustration who then would sue each other and their institutions that have authorized them. So from this earthly understanding, I don’t think this method of sending inspirations is productive & efficient at all.
Below Q/A is taken from www.copyrightlaws.com website:

8.8 Question:  I am an artist and plan on making a pencil drawing of a photo, with 25% of the drawing being different from the photo.  Is that an infringement of copyright in the photo?

Answer:  There is no percentage that makes copying legal or illegal.  Copying any amount more than a “substantial” amount (which is not clearly defined in the law) requires permission.  Although this is a judgement call in each particular circumstance, it is likely that copying 75% of a work would be considered substantial and require permission. (2010-4)

Cave Man or Men ?

Kal Korff in his 1995 book, besides pointing out the photographic inconsistencies in Meier’s photos, mentioned that  Meier had taken 2 photos of the same person and this photo series are named in the Hans Jacob’s binder as “Cave-Man”. Meier didn’t present any caption to his photos which were published in the Pleiadian/Plejaren Contact Report Block 1(2002) but from SB 20, the following clue suggests that the 2 photos are not of one cave man but two different cave men.

Clue #1

“During the journey, some photographs of various primeval animals and humans as well as pyramids were actually made by BEAM, some of which are shown in the edition of the book mentioned.”

Clue #2:

“On display was a primeval world in black and white images as well as some dinosaurs and primitive human beings, who were moving through this terrain.”
But a problem still persists, which is that according to the information in the contact report 35, Tuesday, September 16, 1975, Meier describes the circumstances during his visit to Neber planet as follows:
·         Planet is at a level where dinosaurs exist and the development of human life will happen many millions of years later
·         Semjase says that they cannot walk on the planet and only have stay inside their ship which she would make invisible against detection
·         Two different human races from two different galaxies constructed their research bases on Neber & when much later both of their own home worlds got destroyed(one by cosmic catastrophe & the other by unknown deadly epidemic), being nowhere to go, they gradually devolved technologically(cannot repair their spaceships which became useless junk with time) & their descendants became slowly wild & primitive and got adapted to the wild & barbarous planet Neber.
·         Only after 3,000 years did a highly developed ET race visited the planet & by that time these two races(once waited for help from outside) degenerated and became very wild & primitive, primarily acting on reflexes.
Read CR 35, for more detailed information. Those who want to point out the if Semjase and Meier were in the spacecraft, how could Meier take photos that appear from ground-level, it can be countered by saying that Meier could have taken photographs from a monitor inside the spaceship and that this monitor has the instrumentation & capability to capture & project images according to people’s wish.
In CR 35, it  was also mentioned that the primitive human races physically & consciousness-wise became wild & primitive due to the adaptation to the nature, until to a point where the reflexes would take over which are primarily geared for self-preservation. Nowhere in CR 35 was it mentioned that the human races with time(not mentioned) , “devolved” to a state where they would get ape-like features –  large cranial capacity, ape-like facial features,..etc.
So we have 2 major problems:
  1. Pictures being 100% Identical with an illustration from 1965
  2. Obvious differences with human anatomy in 2 pictures

Unanswered Questions:
  1. How did Meier & FIGU & Plejaren miss these issues since 1975 when they have “successfully” detected 1336 fakes when Meier received his developed pictures in 1975 ?
  2. How did they miss ‘March of Progress’ illustration when it is by far one of the most famous and recognizable scientific illustrations ever produced which achieved iconic status since 1965 ?(A Google Images search for march of progress, progress, ascent of man, or descent of man will return many hundreds of images derived from the March of Progress.)
  3. Why did Meier/FIGU not respond to these issues when they were made aware of it by Kal Korff & Luc Bürgin in 1995 & 1996 respectively ?
  4. Hans George Lanzendorfer(FIGU CG 49 member)  states in SB 20 the following: “For the publication in the Contact Report Block, it was strictly ensured, with the help of Ptaah, that it only concerned “Billy’s” genuine pictures or his pictures that were only slightly falsified by Schmid, whereby the aforesaid falsification, for a logical reason, found no use.” Why did Meier/FIGU and alleged ET Ptaah ignore these issues & went ahead with publishing these pictures as almost authentic in 2002 when they in advance of 6-7 years earlier made aware of it by Kal Korff & Luc Bürgin?
Having these many clear contradictions & inconsistencies, I was compelled to write on Dec 27, 2011 to Christian Frehner(FIGU CG49 member & Director of SSSC) asking for clarification in this issue.

January 2012Since I got no response from Christian Frehner, I decided to raise this issue on german FIGU forum & get some clarification where Hans Georg Lanzendorfer the author of the SB20 article acts a moderator. Unfortunately he didn’t respond when at first it looked he was going to.

February 2012 – Again asked Hans Georg Lanzendorfer about it on the forum but got no response.

July 2012 7 months later got a response from Christian Frehner.

Hi Mahigitam,

Here at last you get an answer to your question (pardon me/us for the delay):

Based on Ptaah's statement during the 384th contact of April 16, 2005 (FIGU-Sonder-Bulletin No. 20 of July 2005) the photos in the Plejadisch-plejarische Kontaktberichte, Block 1 belong to those 42 genuine photos (of 1335 falsified ones) , which were only slightly changed/manipulated. In my understanding this means that the photos present the real situation, but probably with some slight manipulations. They may be taken as an example of what Billy saw and met during his Great Journey (Grosse Reise).

Of course Billy never made photographs from illustrations in books etc. This would absolutely not correspond with his character, honesty and dedication for the mission. Besides, faking such photos in order to "enhance" the authenticity of his case would be silly and is absolutely out of question.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

Salome,
Christian

Sep 23, 2012 – Not satisfied with this zero or poor response from 2 FIGU members, I have asked directly Meier, this same question on English FIGU forum on July 28, 2012. He replied on Sep 23, 2012 with:

Billy photographed the “primitive cave man” with his photo camera in just the same way he photographed all the other objects and people etc.
Billy doesn’t care whether the published photo resembles or matches the famous illustration or not. Since so many of the photos were falsified etc. and, therefore, were taken away from Billy by Quetzal, the photos are not important anymore.
(Note by CF: Besides, the photos of the great journey don’t prove anything because no one on our planet is capable of verifying Billy’s pictures in the next thousands of years.)

Once again Meier/FIGU asserts that Meier really photographed the primitive cave men on Neber planet. Since we got an official confirmation directly from Meier, let us analyse his & CFs response.
They basically make the following 3 points:
  • Billy does not care if the photo resembles any famous illustration
  • Since many photos were falsified,..etc, photos are not important anymore
  • Since no one is capable of verifying Meier’s outer space photos in next 1000 years, they cannot prove anything

Billy does not care if the photo resembles any famous illustration

Then why did Meier care when the following photos resembled illustrations or photos or images from TV:
  •  Venus
  •  Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Universal Barrier photo
  • Apollu-Soyuz link-up photos
  • Ring Nebula
  • Great San Francisco earthquake
  • Asket & Nera
  • Wedding Cake UFO
Perhaps Meier stopped caring about these issues after Asket-Nera issue in 1998.

Since many photos were falsified,..etc, photos are not important anymore

Alleged Plejaren Quetzal was said to have detected 1336 phony outer space photos in 1975 itself immediately when Meier got the photos from photo labs. Also it has been said that 1200 pictures of beamships, landing tracks,..etc were stolen from Meier during late 1970’s & so Meier was left with only a few hundred now.  Most of these falsifications were known to Meier since 1975. So according to the above statement, Meier should have neglected any controversies regarding the photos. But did he? But as it turns out Meier defended himself when issues like Asket-Nera & Wedding cake UFOs caught the attention of both sceptics and supporters in late 1990’s by giving explanations after consulting with the alleged Plejaren Ptaah ?
Besides what if these falsified photos were also to get into official publications as authentic or almost authentic photos ? Should Meier/FIGU and readers not worry about it ?

Since no one is capable of verifying Meier’s outer space photos in next 1000 years, they cannot prove anything

Here Christian Frehner, already assumes that all these surviving outer space photos are genuine. He being a FIGU member since 1987 and having allegedly many personal  “paranormal” experiences he has his own truth and conviction on the authenticity of the Meier case and trust in Meier’s words. But the world at large, especially skeptics, researchers, investigators,..etc do not have such oppurtunity of experiencing closely the “paranormal” events & get to know Meier’s true personality in order to trust Meier’s words as nothing but truths or half-truths.
  • How many years did it take to verify  some of outer space pictures which resembled illustrations, images from TV & photos ? Answer is less than a year.
  • How many years did it take to verify Wedding cake UFO which resembled an object made out of common spare parts available in garage and kitchen ? Answer is 20 years, in 1995.
  • How many years did it take to verify the Asket-Nera photos which resembled that of Dean Martin dancers ? Answer is 23 years, in 1998.
  • How many years did it take to verify that Primitive cave men photos were from an illustration made in year 1965 ? Answer is 36 years, in 2011.
Up to the late1990's Meier maintained that the pictures of Asket-Nera were the genuine images of ETs which he had taken on board the Great Spacer during his 1975 outer space travels. Up to that time, If you have asked any FIGU member or Meier, they would have said without a doubt that Asket-Nera photos were genuine. WHY ? Because the alleged Plejaren Quetzal had already detected fakes(to be precise 1336 out of 1378 photos) & destroyed them. So the logical explanation they would give is that the remaining must be genuine or almost genuine.
Only when it was pointed that the persons in the images were identical to Dean Martin Variety Show dancers, did he claim to have notice the "fakes" & admitted that he had overlooked these "manipulated"(by MIB, Schmid,..) photos. Let us consider his defensive explanations for a moment as truth. But then why did Meier/FIGU not given any response to the allegations made against him by Kal korff(1995) & Luc Burgin(1996) when these have pointed out all the issues we have discussed so far on Cave-men ?
Did Meier talk with the alleged Plejaren and get confirmation that these cave-men photos were genuinely taken by Meier ? Until such a confirmation has been given by the alleged Plejaren, this issue is not settled according to some Meier case supporters, who feel that this cave-men photos have also been manipulated by MIB, Schmid,..etc. It has been 19 years since the controversy started on the cave-men issue and still no adequate explanation has been provided so far.
Are we now 100% certain that there are no more such identical photos made from illustrations, photos, images from TVs,..etc in Meier/FIGU's collection of outer space photos ?
Well, I do not know about you but the way the track record of Meier/FIGU looks, suggests that one should not take anything what has been told by Meier or FIGU as certainly the truth.

The following is the response by Research Professor Emeritus(OSU) - James Deardorff on this issue:

Sat, Mar 1, 2014 at 9:56 PM

"Billy's caveman photo would seem to be one of the hoaxed ones. I can't conceive of Billy in a space suit, probably with Semjase alongside, being able to take the picture of a nude caveman who poses for him conveniently striding towards the right with right leg forward, and without any foreground or background showing."

What does this all mean for:

Meier case supporters:
There are many such oddities in the Meier case and this primitive cave-men photos are just one of them which however does not take away the genuinity of whole case.

Meier case critics:
This primitive cave men photos once again proves what they have been saying all along since 1975, that this case is one giant hoax.

Note: Any counter-arguments, criticism & corrections are most welcome.

Dean Martin Christmas Special Show (1970): Asket & Nera Lookalikes ?

Dennis Kirstein(google translation): "I'm already since 1999 in the possession of VHS cassette with the appropriate recording of the Dean Martin Show in 1970. At the meeting of the German UFO researcher Croeffelbach, near Schwäbisch Hall, 1999, the video was played by the Basel UFO researcher Roger Eglin. It was one of only three copies of the show that existed in Europe in 1999. Eglin had another copy at home in Basel. Luc Bürgin was also probably, also of Basel, still in possession of a copy. Eglin this copy specially made for the meeting to be able to leave untouched original tape can. After the conference I took him to Stuttgart and drove him to our station was still beautiful, as a thank you he gave me the copy. Since they slumbered in my private UFO archive. Well, for ufo information.de, "dusted" I, got me a video recorder, which is not so easy, and digitized the crucial minutes of film.

We would like to apologize for the mediocre quality of the recordings. After all, the VHS is already 14 years old and the show now already 43 years. Nevertheless, both ascetic and Nera are very visible and we are pleased to present you here now Billy Meier's "Alien". "

UFO-Kurier(N18, April 1996): 'The Meier controversy - New accusations' by Luc Bürgin

Semjase: But now it is time for me, because I have to go back to the North sea.
Billy: Then just go, you nightingale – I almost said night owl, but that doesn’t fit you, you’re more like a nightingale – also with regard to singing, by which I mean the voice.
Semjase: Your compliments are of exceptional value and very honest.
Billy: Thank you, then take all the flowers in the world as a token of honour and let their flavour please you in peace and love.
Semjase: You are very sweet, I have a very peculiar feeling within myself.
Billy: You are also very sweet – I wish you so much, lovely girl, may the enchanting flavour of the flower world guide you in love. Goodbye, and until we meet again soon.

(from: Guido Moosbrugger, "Und sie fliegen doch...", Düsseldorf 1991)

Until today the statements of the Swiss Billy Meier lead to heated discussions in the UFO-scene. For decades Meier claims to have personal and telepathic contacts with the “Pleiadians”, and even to have undertaken interstellar flights and time travels with his extraterrestrial friends. Naturally he also met Jesus Christ (who he calls Jmmanuel in his reports) on these occasions and equally naturally Jesus was astonished about his “high intellect”.
As evidence for his hair raising assertions Meier provided hundreds of pictures over the course of years, at which Pleiadian beamships are supposedly visible. He also brought highly blurred pictures from his journeys to other planets in circulation. In addition Meier perpetuated the knowledge gathered during his contacts on thousands of pages which are being studied enthusiastically by his followers – off which there are many – until the present day. While the majority of UFO-investigators are sceptical or even reluctant to the Meier story, other investigators and publishers like Gary Kinder, Randolph Winters, Guido Moosbrugger or Wendelle Stevens basically give the Swiss credibility.
Even the most enthusiastic Meier followers might now become hesitant. The reason: Kal Korff. The American has recently published a book counting over 400 pages, which very precisely documents the results of his many years of investigation ("Spaceships of the Pleiades", New York 1995). No unfounded suspicions, no subjective polemics, but hard facts characterize his work. Facts which properly dismantle the Meier case.
Korff didn’t hesitate to investigate on site: under the false name “Steve Thomas” he managed to get inside Meiers "Freie Interessengemeinschaft für Grenz- und Geisteswissenschaften und Ufologiestudien" (FIGU) in Hinterschmidrüti, where he pretended to be an enthusiastic Meier follower, which gave him the possibility to talk to his closest associates. (He only saw Meier himself from a distance, despite his many requests to speak to him personally.)
During his stay the American asked the followers of the UFO-guru, among other questions, how they would react to a possible visit of Korff, the well-known Meier-critic. Bernadette Brand, a long-standing confidant of Meier, answered: “Lee Elders warned us about him, we wouldn’t allow him in, and if we did, we would never let him go…” Korff was alarmed. Nevertheless he insisted to perpetuate himself in Meiers guestbook.
Let us get into the most important weak points which stroke Korff in Meiers story: the already frequently and gladly cited claim that De Anza Systems in San Jose (California), in commission of Genesis III (a group of Meier supporters), Wendelle Stevens as well as the by MUFON-CES, because of his photo investigations, criticized computer expert Jim Dilettoso have analysed several of Meiers pictures, is false. On inquiry of Korff the company managers disputed since 1980 to have ever researched photo material. Company manager Wayne Heppler about that: “The guys pretended that they wanted to buy a computer. For demonstration purposes we took one of their UFO-pictures and enlarged it (…). They then took a picture of the screen and left (…).” Heppler also declared that De Anza Systems didn’t posses the technical abilities to ensure conclusive photo technical analyses.
Also Ken Dinwiddie, who then did the demonstration, could remember the visitors clearly. During the course of his conversation with Korff most claims about the alleged results of the De Anza-“analysis” turned out to be nonsense. An example should be sufficient: in the pro-Meier-literature occasionally the claim emerges, that the soil of the terrain, above which one of Billy’s flying saucers supposedly had flown its circles, reflected at its bottom side, what would be clearly visible on a photograph which was edited with false colours. A circumstance which – according to Meiers followers – impressively excludes trickery.  As Dinwiddie declared to Korff about this, he inserted the reflection himself by personal request of Dilettoso.
Other photo experts like for example Neil Davis, Eric Eliason or Michael Malin, to which the Meier-pictures were presented for examination, couldn’t admittedly find any manipulations, but in their respective opinion or in later conversations they pointed out that the presented material only allowed for limited conclusions. To be short: without an examination of the respective negatives no adequate evaluation could be made about the pictures. (Characteristically no negatives exist anymore today. According to Meier they were all lost in the mail, or they were stolen from him.)
In the course of his investigation Korff decided to critically examine some of the Meier-pictures himself. The results of his study were more then sobering. It turns out that in many cases the respective sharpness of the photographed saucers were not corresponding to other objects of comparison on the picture. Also computer analysis brought values to light which were in strong contradiction to Meiers claims about the size, height and distance of his UFO’s. In addition Korffs investigations documented bulges and asymmetries on the outer casing of the objects, which construction would rather indicate self fabricated models then extraterrestrial spacecraft. In the case of a photo of March 19, 1976, on which a UFO allegedly hovers behind the branches of a tree (a circumstance which by the Meier-proponents is used as an argument for the genuineness of the respective pictures) a computer manipulation was enough to determine that the alleged spaceship was located in front of the tree.
Another UFO Billy allegedly snapped in February 1975 at Unter-Balm from another hovering spaceship at the same height, 300 meters above the ground. However during a comparison of the terrain on location Korff discovered a small hill, on which the observer is offered the exact same geographic perspective which is also visible on the Meier-picture. The American estimates the height of this hill on a mere 7 meters.
In the case of a series of pictures, supposedly showing a Pleiadian spaceship curving around a tree at Fuchsbüel at July 9th, 1975, the indications of a fabrication are even more obvious. Korff examined the location and concluded that Meier occasionally turned a full 90 degrees while taking the pictures, because the background setting on some of his pictures changes completely. The American: “As the series of pictures clearly shows, the tree must have moved with Meier when he changed his direction twice, since on all ten pictures the same tree silhouette is visible. I hardly need to mention that trees don’t move…”
Characteristically Korff and others searched for the tree in question in vain during their investigations on site. No wonder, according to Meier the cautious Pleiadians eliminated it already many years ago, since it was contaminated by radiation during their demonstration flight. Korff also found Hermann Wyss, the longstanding owner of the strip of land in question, to ask him for the whereabouts of the tree. During this conversation Wyss couldn’t suppress a chuckle. As Korff learned from him, there never was a tree on the said location at all! When after that the American went trough the Meier-pictures again, he discovered a picture among them which Meier allegedly snapped four months before the tree-elimination: also hereon one amusingly seeks for the mysterious tree in vain.
The discrepancies become even worse with his alleged space travels. In this case Meier brings forward among others self snapped pictures of Venus as proof for his assertions. Foolishly the visible cloud formations thereon are exactly identical with those visible on photos taken in 1974 by the NASA-orbiter Mariner 10 – by means of a special UV-filter of course! Billy’s story eventually becomes completely ridiculous, when we consider his picture of the Horsehead Nebula, which he supposedly snapped “from a few thousand kilometres distance”. An acquainted natural scientist comments: “The picture is identical to a picture from one of my astronomy books, including all stars in the foreground. Apart from that Meier could never have made any pictures of gas nebulae with his simple camera, since they shine far too faint. Nearby they are far too thin, to be visible anyway. For such pictures to be made from the earth one needs a precise telescope which follows the earth rotation and a long exposure time.”
Two other pictures from 1975 seemed strangely familiar to me.
(I saved myself the trouble to research the exact age of the original illustration, but I bet it originated before 1975.)
Finally Korff addresses in his book the allegedly so extraordinary metal samples, supposedly given to Meier by his extraterrestrial friends. Bottom line: neither the analysis by the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science & Technology nor the analysis by metallurgist Dr. Walter W. Walker (university of Arizona) showed any evidence for an extraterrestrial origin of the metal samples.
Only the chemist Marcel Vogel speaks around 1980 in an evaluation about an extraordinary composition, which he can only explain by an extraterrestrial origin of the material, all the more because one of the samples examined by him clearly contained Thallium, an extremely rare metal. As Korff determined in this matter, Vogel obviously interpreted his results incorrect: another conducted analysis by metallurgist Dr. Robert Olgilvie (Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge) didn’t show the slightest trace of Thallium.
In addition Kal Korff also carefully examines the scientific credibility of computer expert Jim Dilettoso. Conclusion: Dilettosos assertions, which state that he has a degree in natural sciences from the McGill-University in Canada are demonstrably false. Confronted with the inquiries of Korff during a radio interview in 1994 he eventuality stumbled something about an honorary title. He didn’t provide any evidence for that until now. Hardly surprising, the McGill-University doesn’t provide any honorary titles (according to investigations of Korff). During Korffs investigations also other assertions of Dilettoso concerning his professional career turned out to be downright lies.
Korff eventually devotes a series of pages to the main promoter of Meier, Wendelle Stevens, his long-term prison sentence, as well as the attempts of certain circles to portray Stevens sentence as an orchestrated plot “from above”, which objective was to discredit his investigations in the UFO-sector. Since this story only touches the fringes of the Meier case, I won’t get into detail about this matter.
After reading Korffs book I also started to examine my curious fellow-countryman myself. Different colleagues provided me with information and documentation in this regard, which back Korffs investigations more than once. Michael Arends from Germany studied the Semjase-reports as early as in the seventies. His photocopied documentations contain among others the following findings: “(…) it is therefore also understandable, that in Meiers contact reports authoritarian political systems are endorsed again and again. For example the dictatorship on the planet Akart (it is not mentioned where this planet is located) is positively addressed. Also Adolf Hitler is mentioned extensively, whereby the extraterrestrial humans assess him mainly positively (Semjase-report, page 375).”
An acquainted Swiss natural scientist also studied Meiers writings extensively around 1980. His impressions are written down in a lengthy, unpublished article. “The manuscript is solely a hymn of praise to Meier himself”, I read. “Although Meiers explanations consistently reveal a low education, Semjase is ecstatic about his “high knowledge”. In the manuscript little of this high knowledge is noticeable. (…) Off course astronomical themes are attended to in Meiers conversations with Semjase, and nothing points more clearly to the unreliability of his assertions then the many errors which emerge from his scientific remarks and are accepted by Semjase, as far as they do not originate from her.”
The article subsequently lists 25 contradictions in Meiers manuscript, from which I’d like to mention three as an example:
The Pleiades, from which Semjase originates according to herself, are an open star cluster, which are a few hundred million years old at most. For the formation of habitable planets this is far too short.
Meier: “An atomic destruction of the earth has a substantial influence on other solar systems or even other universes.” Impossible! The distances are far too great. Not even supernovae have any influence on their surrounding environment.
In the manuscript drawings emerge which supposedly stem from Semjase. Her style is just as dilettantish as that of Meier himself.
Also the “Talmud Jmmanuel” of Meier is examined more closely in the mentioned article. According to Meier we are talking about the original gospel, which was discovered this century by a certain I. Rashid in the cave in which the body of Jmmanuel (=Jesus) was taken after the crucifixion. The initiation for the discovery of the document was off course given by Meiers intimate friend Semjase, “the daughter of king of wisdom Ptaah, who travelled to earth in a beamship from the Pleiades, with the assignment to once more point humanity to the real truth, since the time has come to recognize the truth.” The ominous mister Rashid translated 36 chapters of the Talmud Jmmanuel in German and send them to Meier, before he “unfortunately” lost the mysterious document.
The Swiss scientist points out: “The Talmud Jmmanuel is basically nothing else then Luther’s translation of the New Testament with numerous changes and additions, which clearly do not originate from a manuscript, but rather from Meiers pen. (…) Consequently he uses a series of terms which didn’t even exist in the time of Jesus, for example ‘Logic’, ‘Natural law’ or ‘Brain’ (as seat of the intellect).” In the beginning of the book a letter is added which Rashid allegedly wrote to Meier and issued the future fate of the scrolls. The letter contains numerous linguistically erroneous expressions like “es ist mir leid”, “doch aber” or “verlustig gehen”. Exactly the same expressions we find in Meiers own writings.
But also racist passages sting in the eye of the Swiss scientist: “Most characteristically for Meiers views are arguably the numerous sharp anti-Semitic outbursts and the insult of the Jews, which he puts in Jesus’ mouth. He indeed railed against those who in his opinion interpreted the Bible incorrect, but not against his people, to which he belonged after all. The hateful passages are in strange contrast to the many additional world improving, moralistic passages, with which Meier extends the gospels.”
Who eventually pages trough “Information quer durch die FIGU”, a roughly 40 page brochure for those who are interested in FIGU and future members, comes across passages which hardly leave any doubt about the sectarian structure of Meiers environment: “If you visit us outside the official visiting hours, please be aware that after 30 minutes we summon you to assist us in the work that has to be done. (…) Visitors who appear outside the official visiting hours and only want to hang around, not willing to actively assist in labour are not tolerated. (…) These kind of visitors have a demoralizing effect on the centre residents and have to leave our centre and its surrounding area as soon as possible. (…) If you see Billy during your visit, then please leave him in peace. He has more problems to solve and duties to fulfil then you suspect, and at some point he deserves it to have a few moments of rest and enjoy our environment. (…) When you work for and with us, you do it according to the statutes of FIGU without any right for compensation! (…) Connected to the membership (…) is the obligation of meditation according to the meditation teaching.”
The members of FIGU are loyal to their master. Critical sounds from their own ranks hardly get out to the public. I could personally convince myself of that in 1994 during my participation in a panel discussion on the Swiss television. Across from me back then sat Meier-follower Hans-Georg Lanzendorfer. With a dogmatic uplifted forefinger Lanzendorfer (who refers to the FIGU in Hinterschmidrüti in an undated brochure from the centre as the “origin of great knowledge and creational philosophy”) didn’t get tired back then to regurgitate Meiers story in an uncritical and sectarian fashion and randomly deliver blows at press, church and science. He didn’t make any mention of the process Billy fought out with former members in the early eighties.
Via Roger Eglin from Basel, who carefully examined the Meier-case around 1980, I could see into a part of the documents from back then. On November 12, 1979 two close confidants of Billy, H. S. and C. S., wrote a letter to the local council of Turbenthal (Swiss): “(…) since two years E. Meier runs a so called meditation centre, which is constructed belowground, under the shed. (…) In the meditation centre is a changing room. A stairs is leading up to another room, in which a copper pyramid is located. In it the members have to carry out the meditation teaching under the guidance of E. Meier, while laying naked on a stretcher. That these locations are misused in various ways is sufficiently made clear in the accompanying resignation letter from (…). We’d like to point out urgently that E. Meier suggested on several occasions that he would defend the meditation centre by force of arms against foreign intruders if necessary. (…) Also he and his first companion, Jakob Bertschinger, posses a substantial weapon arsenal including ammunition. (…)”
On June 17, 1980 both FIGU insiders had another go, when they handed over a detailed list of financial amounts to the district attorney, which Billy received from his followers as interest-free loans. Around two thousand persons were mentioned by name in the questionable letter, the respective amounts range from 10,000 to 130,000 Swiss francs!
That Meier apparently uses any means in his pursuit for success is illustrated by a four page anonymous letter that was send by Billy in return to these ex-members. The letterhead shows in a large font  “BM – Galact CORPORATION”. The content of the letter basically consists of a very incoherent and long-winded threat to both Swiss to maintain their anti-Meier-initiative any longer, joined with an exuberant hymn of praise to Meier himself. Direct quote: “It must be eminently prevented that this Billy Meier can disseminate his material and his word, because he’s the most dangerous man in this area, since he can proof to every sensible thinking human being that his contacts are based in fact, which you know very well yourself. Our method is therefore that we put every UFO-observer (…) within reach under pressure to remain silent. (…) In tougher cases we have to take measures that will send such people to the afterlife. These measures however did not and do not have any effect in case of this Billy Meier. His spiritual power is simply too great, and besides that he is so knowledgeable, that he can even influence our people, by which means already some of our people were killed, without this guy having to move a finger, since his spiritual power is sufficient to kill. (…) Because of your abysmal stupidity and indiscretion you claimed 5000 francs from this dog and demanded a bankruptcy against him. Exactly that led to one of his greatest accomplishments of his prophet career: thousands of his followers donated contributions amounting around 98,000 francs, as our investigations indicated. He thereby waited until the last moment to pay the claim (…). In particular his dangerous and foreseeable thinking as well as his unbelievable spiritual power made him recognize that because of their stupidity and indiscretion and his patient waiting until the last moment he could achieve the victory he couldn’t achieve otherwise; namely that his cursed organisation became an officially accepted and legal association. (…) The fact that they could not recognize this, is completely incomprehensible for us, therefore we could only conclude that they are hatefully blinded (…).” (The reader is attended to the for Billy typical, incorrect conjunction of clauses, which are italicised.) Hardly necessary to add is that the ominous writing ends with a tangible death threat.
A few months after the mentioned broadcast of the UFO-discussion on the Swiss television I also received a letter from FIGU, which among other things contained a pamphlet from Meier about Kall Korff which wasn’t lacking insulting words. Numerous utterances were put into the American’s mouth, which he never made in this way, and from which he vehemently distances himself – also in his latest book. Instead of giving factual answers to Korffs accusations Meier only lashes out with polemics: “We don’t want to respond at all to the slanderous assertions of the liar, fraud, slanderer and intriguer Kal Korff regarding the investigation of the photographic material by Genesis III etc., because these are so primitive and far-fetched, that these childish assertions can be refuted any time.” In the rest of the text Meier designates his critic literally as “nasty scoundrel”, “skunk”, “brainless, intellectually disabled wannabe detective and pseudo investigator” and “paid dirty creature”. Is this the language of the same man that was praised by Jmmanuel/Jesus for his high intellect and wisdom and even distributes a writing with the ingenious title “Gesetz der Liebe” (“Law of love”)?!
To avoid being accused of having written a one sided article I faxed a rough draft of my article to Billy on February 14, 1996, including the request to read it and send me his written response regarding the raised accusations. As I expected Meier answered me (yet the same evening) with a polemic writing. I’d like to recite it here – except for some italic printed passages – without commentary:
“Concerning your faxed writing as well as your equally by fax transmitted article from today’s date: on my part I think it is beneath me to respond to your article, which I do not wish to read, since I can very well imagine what lies and slander you, as a Korff- and S.-friend, or at least their ally, want to bring to the innocent and unsuspecting readers with these lines, which are with certainty lacking any truth, and since I know you from the television and from magazines as a man who doesn’t represent the actual truth, but only goes by hearsay, according to the principle: ‘From hearsay one learns how to lie’. Furthermore I have to comment on your false accusations, which I know from television and journals as well as from Kal Korff and S., just as little as the lies and slander from these gentlemen and from you, which Korff and you invented, since you do not personally know me nor ever talked to me on the telephone or corresponded with me, as it is also the case with Korff. You, Luc Bürgin, as well as Korff aren’t in any way open, free, honest and unbiased to the truth, which is particular in your case a real pity. Unfortunately you are under the bad influence of liars, imposters, frauds and slanderers as well as under the influence of wannabe-ufologists, like those of MUFON and CENAP etc., by whom you let yourself being spun around and misled, and therefore, in my opinion, your truly outstanding capabilities for the dissemination and rectification of a case are suffering and are being enslaved, and as a consequence you cannot openly, honestly and consciously vouch for and disseminate the truth, but instead you let yourself being misused like a pawn by wannabe-ufologists, as well as liars and slanderers and other lunatics and fantasists for their rotten purposes. You write to me, that a possible response from me, in which according to your words you, however mistakenly, hoped to find a justification, would be added in your article by you and would be published to its full extend. I am anxious to know whether at least in this sense you act according to the truth and whether you are honest and great enough to fulfil your promise. It is yet to say that also lies and slanders in vile articles, and I take it this applies to your article as well, bring more good than harm, as I and those who cooperate with me experienced since the beginning, in marked contrast to good articles, which rarely have any effect. For this reason I’d like to request you not to forget to mention my/our address (FIGU, CH-8495 Schmidrüti/ZH), hence the people who are interested can inform themselves about the real truth.”
On February 15 and February 20, 1996 I received additional letters from my fellow-countryman, which contained more or less the same passages as his first letter. At least they also contained some answers to my questions. Among other things I asked Meier about two of his UFO-photos from the year 1975. One dates from June 14 and shows according to Meier’s “catalogue of authentic colour photos” a “demonstration flight of Semjase’s beamship”. The other one stems from June 25 and is titled “Two beamships, photographed trough the window of a third beamship (Semjase’s), with at the background the still recognisable environment of Rumikon”. Remarkable is that both photos have the same background; in the right side of both pictures an absolutely identical cloudlet is visible!
The answer I received from Meier, when I called him to attention to this matter, could hardly convince me: “You take dates from our catalogue and assume that these are accurate. Exactly that is unfortunately not the case, since this catalogue was repeatedly written of by different persons, which unfortunately caused many errors since we didn’t have a computer back then. (…) Unfortunately we hardly can correct the occurred errors today, which is understandable after 20 years. We were able to catch some mistakes, which we didn’t correct yet in a published catalogue however, but only in our notes. Also with the photos you mention (6.14/6.25) such dating errors occurred unfortunately. (…) The photos, which are dated June 25 are actually also from June 14, 1975.”
Some days later I asked Meier how it was possible that on two pictures Semjase’s UFO is visible, while he snapped the other one from inside Semjase’s ship, since evidently in between both pictures, based on the identical clouds, hardly any time was available to transfer to the ship. Billy’s answer may at best flatter the writers of “Star Trek”: “Naturally it is possible for the Pleiadians to beam a living being from one place to another, by which means it was possible to make pictures outside and inside simultaneously…”
During our exchange of letters I took the opportunity to ask Meier about another photo. The concerning picture is supposed to show “an extraterrestrial instrument on the inside of a spaceship” – as former associate Herbert Runkel stated during presentations in 1980. An instrument indeed, which suspiciously reminds of a (very terrestrial) oscilloscope. Meiers explanation: “The instrument photographed inside the spaceship is not an unfamiliar instrument to the earthlings, but indeed an oscilloscope which is still used for certain purposes in the ancient spaceship. I don’t know what it is used for however, because normally I’m not interested in technical and mechanical issues etc. I know that we are dealing with an oscilloscope here, because friends requested me to ask about it. I never asserted anything else, and thus I don’t have to retort nor justify myself in this case.”
It’s curious however that this picture, just like all the other pictures which Meier supposedly snapped in space, has an arched black edging. (While Meier usually explains these issues so that he snapped these pictures from a Pleiadian display, Korff suspects – with good reason – that Billy far more likely snapped them from his own television.) The answer to this additional discrepancy – Meier faxed it to me on February 20 – could only make me laugh out of pity: “All instruments in the spaceship are constructed behind a display-like protective casing, which are transparent like colourless glass, but are composed of other transparent material. The boundaries between different instruments are composed of a dark, metallic material that is arched and non-transparent. As they explained to me there is a vacuum under this protective casing which is of importance for the function of the equipment. And when I snapped a picture of parts of such equipment/instruments, then this wasn’t possible without also photographing parts of the arched protective casing...”
For the sake of balance, I perhaps should mention that the Meier case consist of many more facets, which I do not wish to clarify here, since in the meanwhile Billy’s story contains – as opposed to other UFO-accounts – to many weak points to further occupy myself with it. As long as the Swiss only comes up with polemic verbal attacks and far-fetched excuses instead of enlightening arguments, I take the right  to remain sceptical.
