"The reel was rediscovered in a small storage room in Hinterschmidrüti. The quality of the copy is fairly good considering that it is about 45 years old and was not kept under favorable conditions. All of the original footage was stolen from Eduard Meier and sold behind his back!
All the cuts in the copy have been left as they were found. The film was scanned professionally in 2.8K resolution in the ProRes 422 HQ codec at 25 frames per second (FPS). In post-production the speed was changed from 25FPS to the original shooting speed of 18FPS. Furthermore the colors were graded. Besides that the footage was not changed or altered in any way."
